New boiler fitted

I found Tony on this very site after a previous plumber left me high and dry after pulling out of job last minute. Tony arrived around 10 minutes after calling him (bear in mind it was 8pm too) and gave me an estimate on the job a day or so later. The work was cheaper than previous plumber quoted but was 100% professional, clean and quick. Tony was always on hand to answer questions and was always polite and knowledgeable. We will definitely be using him in the future for further jobs.

Resolved a leaking pipe as well as some very considerate advice.

Tony arrived ready to roll, he explained about something that was not the reason of call out in addition to advising on suitable items for the bathroom (range of items). He then repaired the initial reason the leaking pipe in the bathroom. He was a very considerate and caring professional who takes great detail in all he does and says. Although I was slightly shocked at the call out fee, I feel assured the leak has stopped.

Supply and fit new boiler.

My job was not straight forward as the boiler had to be re-positioned and piped re-run. The work was carried out in a skilled and professional manner from start to finish.

Supplied and Fitted new Remeha boiler and thermostat

Very pleased with the new boiler and quality of work done. Tony was polite and friendly and got the job done quickly and to a high standard. He was competitive on price compared with other quotes. Highly recommended.

Replacing condensate drain outlet on Remaha Avanta boiler + service

Firstly, I would like to commend Tony for attending my home to deal with the incorrectly installed condensate drain outlet pipework @ 06.42am and then starting work @ 07.00am. The Remaha Avanta Plus boiler had been installed in 2009 by another independent Gas Engineer but Tony established that the individual had not carried out a competent or safe installation. The negligent work had caused water damage to my kitchen and saturated a very large external area of brickwork to the g/f flat below mine! Tony also serviced the boiler using Factory spares and charged a very fair rate for his time and effort. He was polite and extremely helpful e.G. Contacted Gas Safe Register and also phoned the person who carried out the boiler installation in 2009 to advise her of the serious consequences of her failings. I can also say that Tony Argent has a calm and methodical approach to his work. It would be difficult to find another Professional who is more conscientious or competent. Tony kindly talked me through the problems explaining what needed to be done without making it overly complex. I found his details when searching 'the net' for someone who knows the Dutch Broag company's 'Remeha Avanta Plus' boiler range. The boiler was ok it was the installation that was faulty. From this first experience, I would definitely recommend Tony's work....and his 'work ethic' too!.
