WELCOME TO THE CHECKATRADE PAGE OF HEATWAVE.

Established in January 2009 by Jack Allen. Heatwave is a competitive, reliable and friendly service here to help. We carry out the service, maintenance, repair and installation of all CE marked and approved gas appliances. This work may include boiler servicing, landlord safety inspections, replacement boilers, full central heating systems and much more. 

Working for private customers, local building companies, commercial shop fitting organisations and letting agencies, we have a wealth of knowledge in the plumbing, heating and gas industry which is why we can offer such an extensive range of services. 

As a Gas Safe registered company all gas appliance installations are registered with Gas Safe, conforming to all current regulations. We are happy to install most brands of boiler, some of which can have upto 7 years parts and labour warranty. 

We also carry out general plumbing works such as replacement taps, hot water cylinders and ball valves. We repair water and gas leaks, but do not offer an emergency call out service.

Installation of a water conditioner.

I contacted Jack to ask if he could fit a water conditioner. The next day I was given a quotation which I thought was very reasonable and asked Jack to go ahead and order the appliance which only took one day to arrive. The conditioner was installed and up and running in no time. I have used Jack and Heatwave several times in the past and have always found him very polite, tidy and professional. A good job well done! Thank you.

Emergency replacement of broken boiler.

Called Jack on Friday evening, he came round on Saturday to quote. He then came back on Tuesday (earliest possible date due to plumbers merchants being closed for the bank holiday) and replaced the boiler and made good. He was extremely polite, happy to answer questions and even phoned back in the evening to check everything was working OK and we'd got the hang of the new thermostat. I would definitely use him again and would be happy to recommend Jack to anyone needing gas work done.

Re-fitted kitchen.

After contacting Jack again and accepting his quotation for my kitchen refit which was a major job, work started. Jack fitted new dishwasher, washing machine, sink unit with mixer tap and gas hob. All work carried out to my satisfaction. Clean and tidy job.

Complete new four piece bathroom suite.

Jack removed the old bathroom and the new layout commenced. New bath, taps, vanity unit, taps, wc ,walk-in shower and all units fitted well. Channelling and pipework neat. Really pleased with completed job.

Removal of old and installation of new boiler.

Jack kept the original appointment to look at the work required arriving on time and was very pleasant and helpful with suggestions about how the work could be done to reduce expense and disruption. He submitted an acceptable quote and was able to do the work in a timely way. During the week the job took, Jack arrived as promised each day, was curteuous and explained progress and what I should expect for coming day. I felt comfortable having Jack in my home and would recommend him to any one living on their own.
