Welcome to the Checkatrade page for Heatwave.

Established in January 2009 by Jack Allen. Heatwave is a competitive, reliable and friendly service here to help. We carry out the service, maintenance, repair and installation of all CE marked and approved gas appliances. This work includes boiler servicing, landlord safety inspections, replacement boilers, full central heating systems and much more. 

Working for private customers, local building companies, commercial shop fitting organisations and letting agencies, we have a wealth of knowledge in the plumbing, heating and gas industry which is why we can offer such an extensive range of services. 

As a Gas Safe registered company all gas appliance installations are registered with Gas Safe, conforming to all current regulations. We are happy to install most brands of boiler, some of which can have up to 7 years parts and labour warranty. 

We also carry out general plumbing works such as replacement taps, hot water cylinders and ball valves. We repair water and gas leaks, but do not offer an emergency call out service.

Our main aim is to provide a reliable, tidy and friendly service, whilst maintaining the highest standard of workmanship, but remaining very competitive. Please take the time to view our portfolio of pictures showing you some of the work we have carried out.

New central heating boiler.
Jack is extremely professional and efficient and all work was carried out to the highest standard with impressive attention to detail. Fix a leak.
Excellent communication. The leak was fixed. Jack will be coming back to service the boiler and check that the heating system is in good working order.

New radiators fitted and an addition to central heating system.
Excellent workmanship. Reliable, very courteous and helpful. Gave really good advice re system. Would highly recommend Jack. Great to have found a good plumber.

We regularly call Heatwave for our landlord gas safety certificates and for work in our own home. Thoroughly reliable, honest, good workmanship. Don't even think about going anywhere else.

Installation of Glow Worm combi boiler.
I am very happy with the work undertaken which was the removal of our old boiler and installation of new one. Work was done quickly and efficiently. Jack provided good advice on which boiler we should get and his communication was excellent! The quality of the work undertaken is fantastic and they even cleaned up after themselves. I would use them again for sure. You would be a fool to use anyone else!

Boiler diagnosis then eventual replacement.
Friendly and honest. We were given different options to solve the problem with approximate costs and results. Didn't push us to replace it as some companies do. As it turned out we did decide to buy a new one. Jack recommended certain brands and where to buy from. Stuck to date and price given for fitting it, 5* service.

Installation of new boiler, three port valve and issue landlord gas safety certificate.
Very pleased indeed with the work. Completed on time for the price quoted. Jack explained clearly the various differences between the boiler makes which would be suitable for our house to help us choose. He was always courteous and very willing to answer questions and make sure we were happy. He kept us informed of his progress as we were not present in the property when the work was being done. Would not hesitate to recommend him.

This is the third occasion we've used Jack and as before the work was carried out to a high standard. I can highly recommend Jack. He provides a professional and friendly service.
