I'm a qualified garden designer who was trained at Merrist Wood Agriculture College, where I was part of a team that won a bronze medal at the Chelsea Flower Show. I have over 15 years experience of designing and building gardens in and around surrey, whilst Hippo Designs has been in business for the last ten years.

The two areas I concentrate on are the design side, which includes an initial consultation to find out the perimeters of the brief, before submitting three preliminary sketches, these are then tailored into the main working plan, planting plans are drawn up also.

The second area is the construction side, so if its a seating area, driveway, fencing, walling, timberwork etc that you're after, Hippo Designs will carry out all your construction needs.

Removal and construction of garage.
Oliver and one of her staff dismantled a 70 year old sloping wooden garage and removed all the old timber. Oliver then made the concrete base secure and built up the side of the brick support to enable another company to erect the replacement wooden garage. All work done thoroughly on time and within budget. I would be happy to recommend them.

Clearance and re- turfing

An excellent job all round. Oliver and team achieved a lot in a very short space of time, kept to timetable, were flexible and adaptive and made some great suggestions throughout. Would definitely recommend and use again.
