Plumbing; With over 10 years experience I can handle most of your needs for softener installation, kitchen and bathroom fitting, water tanks and outside taps, leaks and repairs.

Handyman servcies

A cattery and walkway to upstairs window
A cat walkway to upstairs window.

John took on a bit of a challenge in building my unique cattery an aerial walkway from the house to the run. He arrived within 24 hours to do my quote. He took the time to sit with me and find out what I really wanted and explained what he could do, given the space and the challenges. The finished product is stunning and came in at under his original quote, which I find a key indicator of his honesty. He made several recommendations, based on his own research and even fixed another problem in the house while he was there! He was neat and tidy and 100% reliable. I would not hesitate to recommend John for other work.

Bedroom painted in rental house

Started the day after I phoned and quickly completed the job. John was prepared to patch up and paint over the existing wallpaper which we agreed was the best solution in the circumstances with a tenant wanting to move in asap.

Bathroom redecoration and shower replacement

John did a great job in our bathroom in September and the standard of fit and finish was excellent (despite some challenges with the shower tray I'd ordered). Very pleased with the results.

Variety of jobs around house and garden

If you need someone to do a bit of everything John is very handy. For me he did some electrical work, carpentry, plumbing and decorating inside, and some paving work outside. It is useful to have a man who can do it all, for those small jobs when it isn't worth getting in an electrician, carpenter, plumber, decorator, etc. Separately. John is probably just as good as most of them would be anyway.
