Kingfisher Decking

is a family run business with the ability to cope with virtually any contract, regardless of the complexity. As well as decking, we also construct pergolas, entrance gates, bespoke fencing, trellis & lattice work, gazebos, seating, if its made of wood and outside, we probably build it. We also offer, a vast choice of accessories from stainless steel balustrade to LED deck lights. All of our work is guaranteed for a period of 12 months with the facility to extend this period indefinitely by taking out an annual maintenance contract. We offer unlimited designs and our quotation service is free and without obligation, even the phone call is free so why not give us a call and see what Kingfisher can do for you.

Decking

We have had quite a lot of work done on the house and when people - building control, the builders, friends and family - walk into the back room they all comment not on the room, but on the deck outside! We are very pleased with it. The finish is superb and you can tell it's been done by real professionals. It was a pleasure to work with Kingfisher Decking from start to finish. A real quality service from getting a quote for the various designs to the finished product. I cannot recommend them enough, I really do not have anything negative to say. Thank you Rob!

Kingfisher were very businesslike. They came when they said for the quote. The quote given was the lowest, but we were more than satisfied with the team fitting the deck and the finished article. They also completed in the given time-scale.

Ipe decking (Tiered)
Ipe decking Tiered in Slough

I contacted Robert from Kingfisher who visited our premises to discuss requirements and to assess the various design options. Robert submitted the designs (3 of them but you can ask for more) and the quote very quickly. We selected a tiered design (recessed area and steps) Robert is craftsman and certainly knows his trade. Kingfisher installed the IPE decking as outlined in the design. The quality of the product and the workmanship was excellent. The team were polite, punctual and tidy. I have already recommended Kingfisher to work colleagues, friends and family.

Removed an old decking area and replaced with high quality decking

In my opinion always turned up early and got on with the job, didn't allow me any time at the end of the job to inspect the final product and afterwards found some flaws in the work.

My response to the customers comments are as follows. We were on time for our initial appointment and arrived on site before 8am every day, considering the project was over 80 miles from our base, I think In my opinion that deserves a higher score.Tidiness, the customer found three or four wood screws in the grass when we left, this meant the score was downgraded from ten to seven. Courtesy, I don’t think it would be possible for the team to have been more polite and friendly than they were. Workmanship, When I approached the customer regarding the quality of the work his response was that out of more than 4000 screw holes that were piloted and countersunk, we had missed installing around 4 screws, hence the downgrade from 10 to 7. Finally in reply to not being given any time to inspect the work on completion, the customer was told that we were more than happy for him to put a cheque in the post at his convenience, but he wanted to pay there and then, how does this constitute not being given time to inspect. We strive for excellence at all times, read all of our other reviews, but appreciate that you cannot please all of the people all of the time.

Decking supplied and fitted at front end and back end of garden. Back and Side fencing supplied and fitted.

A neighbour used Kingfisher for their decking and we were so impressed we contacted Kingfisher who visited and submitted a quote very quickly. Kingfisher installed decking, balustrades and lighting at the house end of the garden, decking at back of the garden and also side and back fencing. The quality of product and workmanship was excellent. The team were polite, punctual and tidy.
