New bathrooms & patio

Removal of asbestos garage
John did a great job for a very reasonable price. John, plus team, turned up promptly and the garage was removed in no time at all. All rubbish and debris from the garage was cleared and taken away. I was extremely impressed at the efficiency and tidiness of the job.

Removal of load bearing wall, bricking up old door and removing window to fit in French doors
Thank you John and Roy for removing our load bearing wall which has now opened up our kitchen space, and also bricking up the old kitchen door and fitting french door in the space of the old window. The job was done quickly with great attention to details. We are very grateful for all the tips you gave us about our own DIY projects. It took us ages to decide which building company to choose so thank you for making our life much easier as we will never have to look again.

New drive construction
John (and Roy) actually came to our front drive at our neighbours request to do a new drive construction. From this we ended up using John to revamp our drive so it is in-keeping with the whole area. John takes a huge amount of pride in his work and is a true professional. An extremely hard worker (which you don't find these days). We were very impressed with the quality of his work. He is very trustworthy, helpful and very tidy. Wouldn't use anyone else now - I'm glad we found him - will keep hold of him. Thanks John.

Fitted fire doors and locks, sorted out problems
Asked for quotes from five different builders, only two got back to me, one took 2 weeks! The other was late turning up with out a business card! John replied to my phone call within 5 minutes, gave me a written quote within 24 hours, turned up 5 minutes early to start works, was honest and trustworthy, he was good at explaining what was the best solution in sorting out some problems, when he carried out works I found him meticulous, and a perfectionist! He made everything so easy, would recommend L A Construction to anyone!

Removed and replaced loose cement on the roof verge and made good the cement around a garage door.
John completed the work neatly and tidily with no fuss or bother. The quality of the work appears to be good and is finished to a good standard. The quote was very reasonable and John was very polite and efficient.

Knocked a wall down and put in French windows
John knocked the wall down between our kitchen and dining room and then plastered to make good. He also blocked up an old door way and built new French windows. He also knocked down the ceiling, plastered and put in spot lights. John was quick to start work and did an especially good job of bricking up the old doorway and the brickwork around the new French window. Also while the ceiling was down he sorted out the drainage pipe work in the bathroom that ran over the kitchen ceiling.
