Welcome to Laidlaw Electrical. We have been established for 11 years (in 2011/2012) and have over 20 years experience in the electrical trade. We have a small friendly team that can cover all electrical work, we are local, clean and tidy, have competitive rates, and have polite and uniformed staff.

We specialise in domestic electrics. We are NICEIC approved contractors and Part P Compliant and all work is certificated.

Rewiring.

We planned to have some plug sockets/light pendants replaced. Grant and Jonny arrived at 8am as promised and 4 hours into the job it came to light that there wasn't any earthing though out the whole house. We decided to have a total rewire. Grant explained that the work would have to be carried at a later date due to other work commitments (booked for the following week). They did a great job keeping us informed along the way. Would recommend to family and friends. Thank you.

Installation of two security lights with integrated CCTV camera.

The price they quoted is competitive. They arrived on time and the job was carried out efficiently and professionally. I am happy with the completed job! I will definitely use them again when needed and will recommend them to friends.

Modernising electrics - new fuse box, plugs, lighting, smoke alarms.

We had bought a house that needed quite a bit of work, including the electrics needing modernising. Grant quote for work was very competitive and also gave advise that we should concentrate on areas of the house we were doing up first, rather than doing the whole house in one go. We felt we could trust him from day one and left him with keys to the house. Fitted new fuse box, 4 double plugs in 3 rooms, altered/replaced lighting, installed smoke alarms and shaving sockets. All work is of a very high standard and I will be using him again soon.
