This was quite a large and technically involved job requiring removal of a very large chimney stack, pile foundations, ground beams, and RSJs spanning the entire width of the house before the 2-storey extension could be built. MD were able to throw plenty of resources at the job and at the peak there were sometimes 6 to 8 people on site, meaning that progress was rapid. The build quality is excellent; the materials and style of the existing building have been well replicated. Joinery is a particular strength. Extras were only incurred where I enhanced the spec (e.g. we had new guttering while the scaffolding was up). There were NO "unforeseen" items and charges were always reasonable. This is a professional outfit that genuinely wants the customer to be happy with the job.
