MRH Handy Services

I set up MRH Handy Services in July 2009 to offer a handyman service for all those little jobs around the house and garden that never seem to get done for all sorts of reasons.

I am reliable, honest and will always do a job as if it were in my own home, making sure that the customer is completely satisfied with the work I have carried out.

The list of services that I am able to offer is continually growing so please do get it touch to discuss your specific requirements. Here is a selection of jobs that I have done recently.

Putting up curtain pole into concrete lintel

Decorated bathroom, fitted hooks on door, repaired broken chair, removed unwanted curtain pole fittings and made good, fixed garage door.

Asked to hang a large bespoke blind and to replace a toilet seat with rusted and seized bolts

Martin was asked to hang a very large and heavy bespoke blind. I was seriously impressed how quickly and efficiently he hung the blind with minimal fuss - a truly brilliant job! We then asked Martin whether he could remove an old toilet seat where the bolts had rusted and seized where we were unable to remove them. With some great determination and ingenuity, he removed what I thought was the impossible - again, another fantastic job. We have just referred Martin to a friend of ours who is looking for a great handyman. If you're looking for someone who is entirely competent and friendly then Martin is your handyman. Sean McKenzie

Lots of odd small jobs

I had loads of little jobs which needed doing. Martin spent a day working through them. He arrived at the time he said he would and just got on. He also showed me how to do a couple of things I didn't know how to do. He also recommended someone to do a larger job which was more complicated than I thought. I would recommend him 100%

Wall Paper stripping

Having purchased a 1950's house in need of complete renovation I was looking for a trustworthy handyman to help me complete the renovation. I have initially used Mark to strip wall paper and have been very happy with his competitive rate and workmanship and have requested additional days / dates.

Wall trellis in garden, water butt connection and balancing, shelves and hooks in garage

Re-Felt a Shed Roof

Corrected ill fitted Bathroom Flooring, fixed leaking tap in kitchen, shaved front door as sticking

Martin was fantastic, did a great job, really pleased with the results. Very tidy, reasonable rate per hour, arrived on time and easy to chat to and understood the problems and put them right.
