  • Kitchen worktops and internal doors

    Mike and his son Alex cut and fit our new kitchen worktops and installed new internal doors. Despite having a few issues with the company we were using to supply the worktops which was out of Mike and Alex’s control, they did everything they could to make sure we had a working kitchen as soon as possible, going the extra mile. We are super happy with the speed and quality of the work, their quotes were accurate and they were very polite and a pleasure to have in the house.

    Mike takes a lot of pride in his work He was originally asked to replace the kitchen in a flat in a large Victorian building It was realised the joists and mortar underneath were rotten and dangerous. The Freeholders builders had to fix that Mike returned when they were done. We kept in touch, and he was great at explaining, planning and adapting things with me and the other trades His son Alex, an electrician, added a lot of value too, Mike and Alex tidied up quite a few things the Freeholders builders had not done to a decent standard The flat is now better than it has ever been

    Another project Mike and Alex have completed for us and we wouldn’t use anyone else! They are trustworthy, reliable, and tidy — and their good humour and attention to detail stands them apart. They kept us informed throughout the project and were always happy to accommodate our changes and additional work requests. They laid an engineered oak floor and skirting boards in our study, knocked through a brick internal wall and installed a new internal window. In the bathroom, they redirected plumbing, installed a new suite and spotlights, herringbone tiled walls, and laid Amtico floor.

    Really pleased with a tradesman who does what he says he will do. Called back after initial enquiry, prompt and courteous. Provided quote in good time, dod work when he said he would and to a good standard, even fitted a blind for me. Would definitely use Michael again for any carpentry jobs, highly recommended and someone you can trust

As well as carpentry, we also carry out almost all electrical work with the exception of E.V charging points and solar panels.


We also offer a decorating and tiling service and can project manage the works through our tried and tested sub-contractors which include carpet and vinyl fitting, plastering, landscaping, plumbing and gas works, some of whom we have used for over 15 years.


Whether its a laminate floor, fitting a door, modernising your old staircase or a full property renovation with new bathrooms, kitchen, plastered, decorated, full rewire, new boiler and even a few walls knocked down with new steels, we can do it.
