MJC Tree Surgeons are a leading specialist in tree care within the Hampshire area. We pride ourselves on the high quality workmanship we are able to provide. The company was founded in 2002 by Matthew Cross who has been working in the industry for the last 15 years.

All our work is carried out to BS3998 and approved by Trading Standards. All staff are fully qualified which means that we can combine all the modern and traditional techniques. With all our work personally guaranteed and fully insured.

We offer a full and comprehensive arboricultural contracting and consultancy service including, tree and shrub pruning and planting, hedge cutting, tree and stump removal.

We undertake work on the smallest or largest trees with the same professional approach.

Fell and remove large apple tree

We were not at home when the work was carried out, so cannot comment on the courtesy of the operatives. The work was done on the time and date previously arranged and for the agreed price. The final result was excellent, particularly as the team were working in a quite confined space. We would be very happy to recommend this company.

Cut back 6 large trees which have TPOs on them

All of our trees have TPOs on them, so Matt arranged for the approval with Southampton City Council in advance. On the day, his team carried out all the work with great care, without any damage to the house. They removed a huge amount of branches and left the garden really clean and tidy. A friendly and very professional team. I would highly recommend this company.
