I have more than 30yrs experience in the building trade. We are a two man team that carry out most of the work calling on tried and tested subbies when needed. All work is overseen by myself.

Nigel Berrisford has completed a new bathroom - to very high specifications - re-fitted a brand new kitchen, modified and redecorated the living room. He will very shortly do some more work for us - utility room in garage etc.

Clean, reliable and honest - competitive prices and builders are very nice and polite. Can be left in house without supervision. Highly recommended - but small company and sometimes take on too much work with too many clients at the same time. Absolutely recommend too.

Friendly, trustworthy, very skilled. Nigel took longer to complete the job, as it was complicated, but was the only person willing to undertake all the work - the result is superb!

Boarding and wall papering
Original work was not completed initially, but was eventually completed after consultation with owner. Main bit of work done well, but building materials left behind in house and floor not cleaned. Second lot of work not done to a very high standard - there were slight gaps in the wall paper and bit of wall paper was torn/damaged. Not very impressed.

The building materials that were left, were a dust sheet and a half bag of joint filler. These were tucked away in the conservatory and forgotten. There was some small bits of removed timber left on the patio because after the first day we we'ren't given access to the patio again. There was some mis-understanding about the finish to one wall, which I had mistakenly emulsioned. It took repeated phone calls and texts on my part to reach my client. A number of appointments were made for payment to be made that were repeatedly broken by the client. In one instance I came back from a place of work some 8 miles away to be told that the client couldn't make the appointment. I thought that I had looked after the client's interest during the works and was not told about her being unhappy about the second stage of papering until she text me to say she wasn't going to give me a good reference. I was not given the chance to put it right, or even look at it!

Retile bathroom and fit new power shower.
Nigel was very patient flexible with us he was very tidy and worked long hours, he was reliable and helpful we are pleased with the standard of his work we have asked him to come back and so more jobs for us at a later date. I would recommend this company.
