Welcome to my page on Checkatrade ~ P Davies Electrical (Sussex) Ltd A small, local, family run Electrical business located just ten minutes North of Brighton & Hove, providing a friendly and trustworthy service offering:-

  • Specialising in Periodic Test, Inspection and Certification (often requested by potential home purchasers or Landlords looking to rent out a property).
  • Support and Maintenance

With over 23 years experience in electrical engineering, I specialise in Domestic and Commercial installations and inspections.  

We also have significant experience in computing, networking, wireless networks and general PC support and training.

Replace Fuse Board, Additional Earth bonding to Gas and water main

Paul is highly knowledgeable, professional, reliable and goes out of his way to provide 'customer service' and is a genuinely nice guy, He took the time to explain what he was doing and why, and sorted a couple of other 'niggles' at no extra charge. I will be asking him to come back and do some more work in the future and if I could give him 11's I certainly would.

Updated fuse box and fixed wiring in loft

Paul is very polite and friendly. Although he was sick the day he was due to arrive, he arranged for his lad Tom to come, so as not to let me down. The work was carried out to a high standard and I would definately recommend him.

Updated old fuse box and wired in shower

Was on time, even rang to say he was going to be ten minutes late. Paul and Tom were polite and tidy. Worth the money for this company, would use again without hesitation.

Problem with lighting in wooden building in garden

Paul called round to look at the lighting in a wooden building in our garden. We have been having problems with the circuit breaker that kept going off. Unfortunately we were unable to replicate the problem but as the lighting refused to work, it does require further investigation. Paul gave me some good advice and I will be using him in the future

New fuse board, outside supply to shed and water feature, rewiring for new shower, check and certification of electrical supply.

Paul is very friendly and clearly explains and discusses how he proposes to meet your requirements, including ensuring all building/electrical regulations are met. He also discussed any future loads/requirements I may need to ensure he put in the correct wiring/fuse boxes etc. From the outset. He tries to keep disruption to a minimum and clears up after himself. I have no hesitation in recommending his services.
