About Rooted

Rooted Garden Services provides design, landscaping and maintenance for gardens in the towns and villages of the Sussex Downlands, including the Brighton area. Rooted prides itself in professional workmanship using traditional techniques and contemporary materials to create and maintain beautiful gardens.

Rooted has been established for over 10 years and is run by Rob Eager, an experienced RHS qualified gardener. Rooted offers both a garden design service to create new or renovated gardens and a complete garden maintenance package from one off garden tidys to regular maintenance contracts for both domestic and commercial clients.

Garden Design

Rob was awarded 8 distinctions in garden design at Brinsbury Horticultural College. Rooted has since completed a full portfolio of garden designs, working on a mix of large country gardens and smaller town ones. Please view these gardens at our website rootedgardens.com

Garden Maintenance

Rooted's garden maintenance package ranges from one off visits to provide a seasonal boost, to regular visits to attend to tasks such as lawn and hedge cutting, pruning shrubs and caring for flower-beds. Rooted provides a professional service with qualified staff and quality equipment to keep your garden looking good throughout the year. Rob's work is excellent. He is very flexible, easy going and provides good quality workmanship on time and in budget. Rob maintained my father's garden in Henfield and I was very happy (as was my father) with the service provided. Rob has worked tirelessly to manage and restore our garden boundary in particular an extremely old and out of control Pyracantha hedge which stretched at least 40 foot. The skill with which this has been worked on has completely transformed the whole garden opening up previously hidden views and everyone comments on the glorious vista this has created. Rob is extremely professional and knowledgeable and over 2 years of knowing him we would highly recommend Rooted Garden Services.
