South East Timber and Damp Limited offers over 20 years of experience assisting with the eradication of Rising Damp, Woodworm, Condensation, Dry Rot, Wet Rot. Also the installation of Waterproofing / Tanking of basements and Wet Rooms and all aspects related to these remedial services.

We hold membership to our industries governing body the Property Care Association, the structural waterproofing association the British Structural Waterproofing Association, as well as consumer organisations such as Buy With Confidence a KCC Trading standards programme and the governments Trustmark scheme.. 

Dean Webster the owner of the company has over 20 years of experience within the remedial services industry and holds the CSRT qualification - Certified Surveyor in Remedial Treatments and the CSSW qualification - Certified Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing.

PLEASE NOTE We CHARGE £90.00 for all Timber & Damp survey's which are carried out by Dean Webster CSRT CSSW qualified  surveyor. 

Annabelle Webster runs the back office of the company and handles all the administration and holds a wealth of customer service experience from running call centres for international airlines.

Together we pride ourselves on getting it right, being flexible and affordable and working closely with the customer to achieve complete satisfaction in the service provided.  Our team of technicians are trained, CRB checked, experienced and Dean manages all day to interaction on every job.  A small but perfect team !

All our specialist works are covered by a 10/20 year guarantee plus we offer insurance policies to run along side the guarantees to cover all works.

We really are the specialists in the Damp proofing, Timber treatments and Tanking/Waterproofing.

Damp course on ground floor.
Dean was able to give us a survey at very short notice and was very honest and straightforward with us. The work was completed within a week and the workmen were very courteous. We are very pleased with the finished result.

Survey carried out to assess damp.
Dean arrived ahead of time, was very courteous, took the time to explain things and is also a property investor so he understands the issues and solutions from that perspective too. Clearly very knowledgeable, I am very good at detecting BS or overegging a situation and there was none of that, just straightforward advice.

As a company we actively encourage our clients to provide feedback and Thank the customer for doing this – I became aware of the issue on the day our works were completed in that the tape our technicians used to protect furniture had torn in two small places the lining paper from the wall. We offered immediately cover the cost for any repair works which was declined – an email was received the same day stating “Thanks for your email and for the offer but it really isn’t an issue. Purely for some feedback in case it happened somewhere else” Subsequently our technicians have been made aware and we have reverted back to our original tape and it will not occur again.

Small damp course and timber treatment throughout house.
Can not rate this company highly enough! Professional, efficient and friendly from start to finish! Dean and Annabelle went out of their way to fit us in despite ever changing moving dates and were also extremely helpful regarding local information and other trades. The lads that carried out the work were really nice, arrived as expected, got on with the job and actually left the house cleaner and tidier than when they arrived! All round excellent service!

Damp proofing and repairs.
Dean came to the house to do a survey and was very thorough and answered all of the questions I had in a very clear, precise and friendly way. He outlined the work that needed to be done and said he would price it up and send me a full report within a few days. I told Dean that other contractors I had round to quote for the work had suggested various other jobs that they wanted to do on top of what Dean was suggesting. These included 'Heat Recovery Ventilation' units which are expensive. Dean said that he could fit them if I wanted him to but that it would not help with the problems we were having and would be a waste of my money. I think this shows real honesty as he could have agreed and taken my money and I would have been none the wiser. We had damp in 2 rooms, rotten floorboard joists in one room and some air bricks fitted in the bay window area. It took 3,5 days to do the work which seemed very reasonable to me. All of the people that worked on the house were very friendly and seemed trust worthy. They made a real effort to keep the mess to a minimum and cleaned up when they had finished. The work was finished to a very high standard. Also, Annabelle in the office was very helpful and quick to respond to all of my queries. I would definitely recommend this company and I will use them again in the future should the need arise.
