Welcome to Southbourne Decorating.

I am David Stapleton and I have been in the Decorating Trade for 25 years, specialising in all aspects of Domestic and Commercial Decorating.

I am fully qualified with a wealth of experience and knowledge in painting, decorating and refurbishments. 

I have City & Guilds certificates in the Craft of Painting & Decorating and in the Advanced Craft of Painting & Decorating. I have also taught Painting & Decorating and Wallpaper Hanging at Bournemouth & Poole College.

I became an approved member of the Dulux Approved Decorating Scheme in 2003, I am a member of Trust Mark, a government endorsed standards scheme which is extra peace of mind that the works produced will be of high Craftsmanship and of a Exceptional Lasting Finish. 

As a Dulux Select Decorator we always work to best practice, using quality materials and all our work will be carried out in a clean & tidy manor. Adequate protection for all surfaces, fixtures and fittings will be provided and due care and attention will be taken to customer property at all times.

A no obligation written quote will be given after I have been to price the work required, which will include a breakdown of the works & materials required to complete the job.

I have a loyal, honest and reliable team that work with me, so no job is too large or too small.

Complete redecoration of lounge, wallpapering and painting.

David's work is excellent, his preparation is very thorough! He is reliable, tidy, professional and a very pleasant person to have around. The room was finished on time (we had a tight schedule to keep) and we were absolutely thrilled with the end result. We would highly recommend David and will certainly use his services again.

Painting door frame.

I thought that the faulty flaking paint was part of the work done. I did not realise that David had not painted the frame and it was previous painters work that was flaking. I had just moved in. However David has been to paint it for me at no charge for which I'm grateful. I apologise for jumping to the wrong conclusion. The rest of the decorating done by Southbourne Decorating is excellent.

Kitchen and hallway decoration.

I found Southbourne Decorating extremely professional and very prompt! I did originally have concerns that the distance from Bournemouth would compromise the overall project. David was on time with the completion, as he stayed local to the project. I used Southbourne Decorating because they came highly recommended. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Very, very pleased!

Painting six rooms.

Very good finish to paint work and ceilings except down the hinge side of inner door frame when gloss was put on top of gloss and it flaked off.
