Hello, I am James Lawlor.

In 1993 I completed a two year City and Guilds course in plastering.

I started St James Plastering Services  in 1995.

I am very experienced in renovation work and repair work, skimming, new ceilings, making plaster moulds, fixing cornice, coving and general plastering.

I use the best materials to complete all projects and I have peace of mind that my work is safe and will last for at least a generation.

Matched coving run

We employed James to run coving in two rooms to match the original of the house following a room alteration. He has done an excellent job of blending in the new pieces with the existing including an end run to match the style of another decorative end in the same room. I would not hesitate to recommend James for anyone considering a similar task.

Plastering of wall and putting up of coving.

James was a pleasure to have in the house. He was friendly and professional. He was very tidy; placing dust sheets in all areas he worked in and had to carry plaster etc. Through and he left everything in perfectly clean at the end of each day. His work was very good and the coving appears seamless. His quote was delivered quickly and he started when promised. I would definitely recommend James to friends.

Plastering ceilings and walls

James did an excellent job of plastering the walls and ceilings with a great finish. He made sure that everything was tidy after the day's work as we have three children, two of them with asthma.

General Plastering Work for various projects

We run a plumbing, heating and gas installation business in South London, and as part of our general works we regularly carry out bathroom and kitchen refurbs and always need a plasterer. I met James a few years ago as a result of a random internet search. I know from years of experience how difficult it is to find reliable, competent and trustworthy tradesmen who actially are what they profess to be, and can produce the results which they claim at the outset. James has carried out numerous plastering works for us, and I can honestly say that I never been disappointed. His work is to a very high standard, and the working area afterwards is always left perfectly clean and tidy with no plaster splashes etc all over the place which is common with some plasterers of a much lesser standard. In closing, I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending St James's Plastering to any prospective customer. You will not be disappointed !!
