 I started in the building trade 20 years ago actually doing carpentry! I built roofs, hung doors,fixed kitchens,etc. I can build anything from timber. I progressed into other trades such as plumbing, plastering, tiling, electrics etc and found I was enjoying the bathroom side of things.

 The beauty of having one man on a job - he stays focused on the design which doe's not get lost when you have a multitude of men coming thru the door plus the job never gets held up waiting for a trade to arrive.

 I have never advertised my business, all my work comes thru word of mouth, just ordinary people passing me on because I have done a great job, listened to what they wanted, showed respect to their homes and not been extortionate!

 I have come to know all my customers as friends, they would give me a reference any time. Im a good tradesman with a warm heart, helping people to improve their homes. I love my job and its a bonus to be paid for my passion. I do every job very well and will travel to my customers wherever they are.The greateast feeling you can have is seeing someone smile when I show them my work.

Finishing installing a Shower, Shower Door, Sink Unit, Cabinet and Bathroom Accessories

Our previous builders (Loft Conversion) left us with a half finished bathroom. Thank goodness for Steve and his caring and diligently approach to our prediciment. He worked professionally through all the obstacles that he was presented with and our bathroom now looks great. Would definitely recommend Steve and we will be using him again for other work.

Sourced and Fitted New Kitchen

I am absolutely delighted with Steve and his work. He has been a pleasure to deal with and completely professional. Steve fitted a new kitchen for a client of mine and went above and beyond what we had asked him to do, making many improvements to the existing kitchen- even uncovering a window we thought was lost. He also made good work done by previous builders and now the flat looks great. Thanks Steve. I will certainly be recommending you to all my clients.

Pump fitted to cover two bathrooms

Steve was recommended by both my neighbours on either side of my property. I certainly knew a word by mouth and seeing the professional work carried out at their premises, I could not go wrong. I approached Steve and inquired if he could take a look at our current plumping system to add a pump to boost the pressure to two showers. He certainly agreed and was very flexible in fixing a time to meet. He gave us a detailed quote and was very clear on every step of the job to be performed. He was very friendly and was ready to listen at all time. He cleared all our doubts on all questions. On the day of the job he was punctual, ready with all required parts and tools. He was very honest, efficient and took fewer hours than initially planned which saved our money and made all at home thrilled. He cleaned all surfaces, checked for leaks and promised to come back next week to see if everything is in perfect condition. My final words will be that “he made our dreams come true!!”. He was the best plumber I have ever met. I would recommend him for anyone in future.

Cut and fit new plywood floor in bathroom, laid new ceramic tiles, replaced front bath panel, replaces siphon in toilet and 'sorted' tap on handbasin

Steve is an excellent tradesman who took pride in his work and communicated well on any issues both before and during the period of work. The job required an additional day's labour which we discussed and agreed - charges for this were very reasonable. The quality of the finished job was high and I would recommend Steve as a very reliable, conscientious all-round tradesman.

Installation of new bathroom suite and shower screen; plastering and tiling; laying of plywood floor; re-siting of bathroom light.

Steve did a great job transforming my 1970s bathroom (think avocado suite and pink tiles…). He replaced the suite (bath/toilet/basin), adjusting the plumbing to accommodate the smaller, modern toilet and basin, and re-plastered and tiled the walls around the suite. The tiling was particularly well done, with Steve paying great attention to ensuring that the tiles/breaks between them were perfectly lined up with the appliances so that the overall effect was very neat and professional. As I have a Victorian property, Steve also had to work round complications of a sloping floor, a slightly bowing wall and dodgy angles, all of which he managed without problem. Steve is extremely conscientious and hardworking and clearly takes a pride in doing a good job. I also found him to be reliable and trustworthy, including when I had to go away for a few days due to a family emergency. He secured the property each evening and kept me informed of progress. His quote for the work was set out in great detail and he took pains to explain exactly what the work would involve and how the costs were arrived at. I also found it really helpful that he was able to carry out so much of the work that I required for the bathroom rather than my having to contract separate tradesmen. I would highly recommend him for such projects, and am myself planning to ask him to do further work in my house in the future.

Having just bought a new property which required extensive work to be carried throughout (2 new bathrooms to be re-tiled and installed, a kitchen to become open plan and totally redone, plus other odd jobs) on an extremely tight budget and after a few meetings with other local builders ( plus having watched a few too many episodes of 'Cowboy Builders' ) we were rather nervous clients. We then discovered Steve! On his first visit he completely assured us by spending time evaluating the work required, how it would need to be implemented and talked us through the whole thing. Not only was his quote very reasonable and detailed , we felt peace of mind, trust and had no concerns over choosing him for the job. The work was completed to a very high quality. He is a perfectionist and spent time ensuring every single detail was completed to the highest standard, we cannot fault his craftsmanship in terms of tiling, plastering, carpentry, kitchen/bathroom fitting. He kept us informed throughout the process, continuously ensuring that we were happy. He was reliable, professional, caring, very friendly and personable person, he even came to visit us a week after he finished to check we were ok! We have and would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Plastering,Large mirror hung, dining room door rehung and front door fixed!

What a find! A couple of months ago Steve did some plastering for us... and in short renewed our faith in Tradesmen! Today he popped around (the week before Christmas!) to hang a large mirror for us and whilst was here was only too happy to help with other small jobs (which were infact very time consuming jobs if you are us!) We are absolutely thrilled with the results. He is very polite and genuinely cares about the work that he does which I think is a rarity! I have already asked him to quote on building new shelving in our bedroom and to lay a new wood floor. I cannot recommend Steve enough... no matter how big or small the job he is your man!

New bath fitted and Tiling work

Steve did a brilliant job, I'm so pleased with the result. He is hardworking, reliable and conscientious and the quality of the workmanship is brilliant. I would highly recommend Steve to anyone, and I'm so pleased with the work he's done that I've asked him to come back and lay a new bathroom floor for us. If you're looking for someone to do a good professional job then Steve's the one to choose.

Advice sought for en-suite re-fit

I contacted Steve for some advice on fitting a new shower area in an en-suite that I had started on. He called me back straight away and offered the advice I needed. He went further though by kindly offering to pop round to see the job first hand, and help point me in the right direction. Steve is a real find, as I don't think you would find anyone else willing to go to those lengths. He also advised on best products for the job. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Steve and he would be my first port of call for any future work. Thanks Steve...
