Several jobs
S&R Building & Decorating Services are always on time, they do a great professional job with no impact on your household and even clean up afterwards!  I cannot recommend them enough and they have done several jobs for me and friends over the years.

Exterior of house painted

Steve is friendly, reliable and painted our house to a very high standard. The weather made it particulary difficult for him but he got on with it without a fuss and even worked on a bank holiday to complete the work as soon as possible. He is very tidy and we are extremely pleased with his work. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Hall,stairs, landing and downstairs toilet decorated

Steve was polite and extremely quiet throughout the work- he was tidy and reliable and was easy to talk to about any changes or extra work that we needed him to undertake. He was friendly and approachable and we would recommend him to anybody. The work was of a very high standard and we are extremely pleased with the outcome.

Wallpapering hall, stairwell and landing of Victorian property

I was very impressed with the quality of work, professionalism, tidiness and respect for your property that Steve demonstrated. I was a little nervous about handing over a key and letting someone come and go, mainly as we have 2 cats that aren't allowed out of the front door but each evening I came home to 2 cats. Steve even came over on the first day at 7.15am so I could give him the key before I went to work. It's a shame that that was the only time I saw him. We were both amazed at how good the hallway looked after he had finished. It was in such a state that we thought the only way it was going to look any good was to throw a lot of money at it but we were wrong. Thank you Steve.

This is the third time I have contracted Steve to do decorating work in my home. Steve is a hardworking and considerate worker. He is also very good at estimating the time the work is going to take. His work is of a high standard and I would recommend him to anyone. I am grateful to him for all the extra bits of work he did for me. Once I have sold my home, I will have no hesitation in contacting him again to decorate the new one (if needed).

Steve Trott gave me the most reasonable quote from those who I contacted through Check a Trade. Immediately on meeting him I could tell that he was honest, genuine, and keen to do a good job. He surpassed that expectation - cheerfully did an excellent job to schedule (despite November weather) - fixed a window that's been cracked for ages - and went out of the way to help me arrange for some extra scaffolding and someone to repair a chimney when we noticed some rendering had come loose. Many thanks Steve! You have my fullest recommendation!
