Established in 2006 Stevens' Homes was founded on the principle of making life easier for homeowners when it comes to getting trades in to undertake projects in the home. Whether your project is large or small Stevens' Homes is your one-stop-shop for services all under one roof. Our team has years of experience in all of the various fields required to do any job in your home and we have one rule. Its only OK if its perfect!
We offer a service from conception to completion on a complete range of installations in your home. From minor electrical work to full blown extensions you'll only ever deal with us. You'll only ever have one price to think about and you'll only ever have to pay one person. There's no worry about one or more of your trades not turning up or over charging - our price is all inclusive and we guarantee all work in your quote will be done on time and on budget.
We work with you on all aspects of the job, its your home so you should choose what goes in it. Unlike some building firms we won't urge you to use our suppliers because we get a better rate, we let you choose the products you want and then we'll hunt around for the best deal for you. Alternatively if you want to source your own materials so you know just what your getting for your money we'll happily just come and fit them.
All our work is fully insured and we are registered with the Part P scheme for electrical work so your job can be properly signed off.
Payment is a big issue for many people and installments are standard with Stevens' Homes. Meaning you don't pay the full amount until you are happy with the finished product. And so we all know where we stand when you book us in you'll get a proper contract of work saying exactly what we've agreed, just to put your mind at rest.

Replacement of ensure bathroom.

Martin works really hard and nothing is too much trouble. He happily takes on adjustments to the job as the project is developing offering suggestions and advice which are both helpful and imaginative. We are really pleased with the finished work and would happily recommend Martin to anyone wanting a hassle-free experience which comes in on budget.

Kitchen refit, building work.
The work that Martin completed was to a high standard. He helped with the design of the kitchen and had lots of helpful advice. The refit meant pulling down a wall, rewiring the kitchen, moving pipework, putting up a new ceiling with new lights as well as installing new patio doors in a new position. As with all jobs like this, things cropped up along the way but nothing was a big drama and Martin dealt with it all in his stride. We can now sit back and enjoy our lovely new kitchen!

As with all the other remodeling work that Martin has done for us, the design, engineering, craftsmanship and quality of his work is outstanding. He has now rebuilt and remodeled rooms on every floor of our house. His range of professional skills are so wide and his problem solving skills are so effective that he is readily able to solve (sometimes quite creatively) a wide range of building and engineering problems that can be confronted. He is also quite rich with design ideas. The end results we ended up with were often much better than the ideas with which we started. We can't recommend him highly enough.

Gutting bathroom and completely refitting
Martin was an extreemly efficient, tidy worker. An intelligent, hardworking man who took great pains to give me the bathroom I wanted He was able to advise on a number of building problems as he has a lot of experience in all fields. Bedroom and loft conversion
This was the second of two major room conversion jobs that my wife and I engaged Stevens Homes to accomplish. As with the first job, we were extremely happy with the means by which Martin executed the work (advising us along the way about how we could get the best value for our money, and saving time by the fact that he can do all the plumbing and electrical work himself with no need to rely or wait on the availability or advice of third parties) and the results he achieved. He is completely reliable, knowledgeable, courteous, honest and clean. We can't recommend him highly enough.

Bedroom and bathroom conversion - reconstruction
Martin Stevens is by far the most competent, skilled and effective tradesman I have ever come engaged. In addition to being a highly competent joiner, his is also a fully qualified electrician and plumber. And beyond all that, he is also very adept at engineering and design. All combined, this made the execution of his work smooth and seamless - with no need to wait or depend on any third parties to think through or do any of the component parts. Furthermore, we saved substantial time and money, through the advice and insights he continually gave us - steering us clear of otherwise unforeseen problems and design flaws.
