  • Old movie tapes put onto a memory stick

    I was pleased to learn recently that Swanley Computers were moving to Dartford where I live. Despite calling in on the day of the move I was served immediately but a friendly member of staff. I was in no urgent need of the work but he warned it may take a while in view of their move situation. However I received a call about 3 weeks later to advise my order was ready for collection. At home I checked the input on the memory stick was exactly as required & professionally displayed. Can totally recommend them- very courteous and friendly & keen to provide a good product & customer service.

    My PC became locked by a scam link requesting I contact the scammers to unlock. Swanley Computers quickly resolved the issue and had the PC up and running again in minutes, free of charge. They politely ignored my complete lack of IT knowledge and were extremely reassuring, whilst warning me about future use of suspect links. I would definitely recommend their service to anyone and will keep their number for future use.

    I contacted Swanley Computers after experiencing a a complete loss of power on my business laptop. They came back immediately with an idea of the likely problem and cost estimate, and offered to collect and return the laptop. I was kept in touch at all times. The problem was a motherboard problem, which needed a replacement component I was very pleased with the speed and efficiency of the repair, which was undertaken by their colleague for speed within the estimated cost. Highly recommended.

Having been in business for 32 years the company has had the same owner since it started in 1990, so knowledge and experience goes back many years. 


We have tackled just about every computer problem you can think of from systems not booting to total rebuilds.


Our workshops are fully equipped allowing us to repair laptop motherboard failures using micro soldering stations all the way through to Windows software errors. 


Windows systems, Apple Mac, Consoles etc have all been through our doors.


If your system no longer connects to the internet, does not boot, has errors on start-up, no longer prints or needs a new screen we can help. 


We could list all the faults that we can, and have, fixed but if it’s a computer and not working we can probably fix it or offer a solution.


Hard disk drive data recovery is a core part of our business and we have invested quite heavily in a variety of equipment.


This has increased the chances of success when a hard disk fails, and you need the data.


Should you need a new or refurbished system we can help there as well as we have been building and supplying computer systems for customers since we started. 


As an Epson Express Partner, we repair Epson Printers for both in warranty and those several years old.


New additions to our range of services include Video to DVD transfer, Slide and negative scanning, cine film to DVD transfer and a range of photo printing from 6 x 4 up to large posters 24 x 36.
