SYSTEM UPDATES FOR YOUR CENTRAL HEATING

There are many advantages to updating your central heating system. Perhaps you might want to add better controls that give you more flexibility, such as a 7 day programmer, motorised valves or a new thermostat control. You may be thinking of adding additional radiators, or fitting thermostatic radiator valves to your existing radiators, or generally just bringing your system in line with today’s modern standards. There are many ways that you can improve the performance and energy efficiency of your existing system without changing the boiler.

We can inspect your system and provide support and guidance to determine which the best options for you are.

BOILER REPLACEMENTS

Gas bills are to rise by 20% this winter. You can avoid the increase in your bills by fitting an "A" rated energy efficient condensing boiler. UltraGas give 5-7 year manufacturer’s guarantee 'PARTS and LABOUR' free of charge.

At UltraGas, safety is our main concern for your home and therefore, a FREE carbon monoxide alarm detector is installed with each of our installations. Just like a smoke detector alerting the presence of smoke, a carbon monoxide detector will alert you to the presence of CO. Carbon Monoxide is not visible, it has no smell or taste, so this alarm will give you peace of mind.

POWER FLUSHING CENTRAL HEATING SYSTEMS

If you feel that your radiators could be a bit hotter, or the system is noisy and generally not performing as well as you think it should, then there is a possibility that there may be a sludge build up in your system which requires cleaning. Sludge in heating systems can drastically affect the performance and efficiency of your boiler, and is almost certainly costing you money.

Power flushing is the easy solution to this problem. By connecting a power flush machine to your central heating system and circulating a special cleansing chemical, ensures that your system is clean and working to its full efficiency, saving money on running costs and reducing your fuel bills.

SERVICING YOUR BOILER

All gas appliances should be serviced at least once a year. This is to ensure the safe and smooth running of your gas boiler or water heater for the next twelve months. It is vital that all the safety controls are tested, ensuring they are functioning correctly, and that the flue is examined to check you are not at risk from potential dangerous gas appliances. The internal components, such as burners and pilots should be cleaned to ensure they are burning cleanly and correctly, along with checking gas pressures and water flow rates. With condensing boilers, there are checks that should be carried out annually as per manufacturers recommendations, such as cleaning out the condense sump and flue analysis checks.

During our annual service visit, the system is also inspected, radiators are bled, tanks are checked, and the controls calibrated where necessary.

Installed Full Central Heating System. New Vaillant Combination Boiler and 8 Radiators with Towel Rail
I have used UltraGas three times now and I can honestly say they are a very professional Team. Dean and Anthony installed a full central heating system to the highest standards. They worked late hours to get the job done in time for our new arrival. They were always reliable and on time from start to finish. The new Vaillant combi boiler is great and very efficient, very happy with what they recommended to us. I will definitely be using them again in the future. Replace six radiators.
Dean and Anthony arrived on time and well presented. They were courteous and conscientious whilst going about their work and they kept me informed throughout. Very tidy workers and they did a superb job!! I could not recommend them highly enough. I had quite a few quotes before deciding on UltraGas and I am so glad I went with them. Very friendly, informative and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy workmen - I fully expect to have them round again shortly to install my new central heating system. Repaired Gas Leak
Called UltraGas in the morning and they were out to us within the hour. Great workers, found the leak immediately and rectified the problem. We are very happy with the response. Will definitely recommend them without a doubt.

Central Heating boiler replacement.
Dean come to my home to replace the boiler system and put in a additional radiator, he worked swiftly and to a high standard. I have requested him to return once the bathroom is stripped out so the pipes can be replaced there to complete the replacement of the old pipes. I would have no issues recommending Dean to any of my friends or family. Very friendly cheeky guy who enjoys the work he completes.

Installed new boiler
I would just like to say that they worked to an exceptionally high standard. The pipe work and magnetic filter were arranged neatly in cupboard. Dean and Anthony took their time to explain in detail how to operate the new boiler. I am over the moon with the outcome. They are by far the best company we could have chosen to carry out the job.
