Vulcan Motors, which has been in operation since 1990, was taken over in 2000 by local couple and the business, which is situated  was then revitalised to offer a full range of high quality servicing, repair and maintenance for all makes of car and van. This includes all types of mechanical work, engine diagnostics and tuning, and the servicing and re-gassing of air-conditioning systems. The company, whose standards are approved by the Retail Motor Industry Federation, also operates an Accreditation MoT test station.

We provide servicing and maintenance support to private motorists and to a number of local businesses. As a member of the Bosch Car Service network our customers enjoy the added confidence that they can bring their cars and vans to a firm whose standards are monitored by a world-leading company. They can be confident that the work will be carried out correctly, efficiently and at costs that are considerably more competitive than the franchised dealers.

Emergency repair to car, following break down - electrical fault.

Carry out MOT and supply and fit 4 new tyres.

On Wednesday 13 March, my car (a blue BMW 335i) was collected by Vulcan Motors employees at which time my partner spent some minutes discussing matters with the employee during the course of which he and the employee had cause to walk around the vehicle to examine all four of the tyres which had any damage already been present on the car it would have been immediately visible. Upon the car being returned after dusk (~5pm the same day), the damage was immediately noticed and drawn to the attention of Vulcan Motors. It is clearly the case that the vehicle was either damaged on the journey to or from; or at the premises of Vulcan Motors. Vulcan denied all knowledge and liability for this - while it is clear that my vehicle sustained damage whilst in Vulcan Motors custody. Given the nature of the damage, it is inconceivable that this would have gone un-noticed if the car was being driven at the time, and in the same way would have been immediately obvious had this occurred whilst the vehicle was either being moved in Vulcan Motors workshop, or else struck by another vehicle on Vulcan Motors premises.

We have made every effort (email and telephone) to resolve this situation even though we strongly believe that damage was not caused by Vulcan Motors but we are keen to put this matter to bed. However correspondence has been none existence.
