Vulcan Motors, which has been in operation since 1990, was taken over in 2000 by local couple and the business, which is situated  was then revitalised to offer a full range of high quality servicing, repair and maintenance for all makes of car and van. This includes all types of mechanical work, engine diagnostics and tuning, and the servicing and re-gassing of air-conditioning systems. The company, whose standards are approved by the Retail Motor Industry Federation, also operates an Accreditation MoT test station.

We provide servicing and maintenance support to private motorists and to a number of local businesses. As a member of the Bosch Car Service network our customers enjoy the added confidence that they can bring their cars and vans to a firm whose standards are monitored by a world-leading company. They can be confident that the work will be carried out correctly, efficiently and at costs that are considerably more competitive than the franchised dealers.

Displaying the BCS/OFT logo makes a statement that customers can expect the highest standard of service and that a clearly defined system is in place for the open, fast and fair resolution of complaints . Bosch Car Service now has over 500 garages in its network throughout the . Being a member of the network also ensures that staff at Vulcan Motors have access to the best Bosch training courses, as well as the latest diagnostic equipment and quality parts for servicing and repair.

Checked out noise on car

Excellent service, very friendly. "as it says on the tin" I was kept informed with status, everyone I spoke to was extremely friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Just gutted that Ford are so unfair by forcing their loyal customers to use their own main dealer for repair work and therefore incurring costs twice as much as needed to be paid. I would have much preferred Vulcan to do the work!

MOT

I popped in unannounced the day before to get a 'pre MOT' check on something which might result in a fail. They gave me the time and reassured me that it was within the legal limit. I REALLY rate both the mechanic who looked at my car before the actual MOT and the two people on reception (one who is the owner). They were both extremely friendly, very helpful, gave time to explain things and generally dealt with me in a very courteous manner. It was a real pleasure to deal with such lovely people. I will definitely go back there again
