  No work carried out

  Telephoned Jason Bourne (24th Sept 2019) and asked if he was interested in submitting a quote for laying a resin-bound driveway. He confirmed he was interested and asked me to text him my address, saying he would call later that day to arrange a appointment. Failed to call or text. Sent another text asking if he was still interested in quoting. He confirmed he was and we arranged to meet at 17:00 on the 25th Sept 2019. He didn't keep the appointment or had the courtesy to contact me to tell me he wasn't coming. A totally unreliable business that does nothing for Checkatrade's reputation.

  Driveway

  Very disappointed with the service was told 2/3 weeks to complete the job and never got finished until week 11. No communication most days when they never showed when I made contact it was one excuse after the other. However the bricklayer was very professional the days he was sent to us .An approved license to create a drop kerb  wasn't applied for by the 3rd party until I asked for proof.When drive was eventually finished I had to point out a couple of bits that needed sorting only to be told it was cosmetic. Poor service, poor reliability.

  I am disappointed with this review as I have gone above and beyond for this customer with regards to this job. I do sympathise with them a little due to timeframes and complications which were out of my control. Equally, I have done a really good job for them and not been paid the balance in full still to this day. For their inconvenience, I did deduct £600 off their final bill as I always like to keep my clients happy. We did go back to this job and address the issues that they raised. Unfortunately, there were things out of my control which I believe to be a factor in them leaving the review that they have. They now have the licence that is mentioned in their comments, these can’t be rushed as a third party is responsible for this. For any new clients looking on my profile, I have pictures of my work available on request. I do not believe this review is a true reflection of my work and the overall service that I provide. As you can see, other customers rate my work highly. I hope that myself and the customers can still come to an agreement.

  Resin bonded driveway.

  Excellent work. Far better finish than I expected. Very pleased with the result.

  Resin bound driveway

  The work had to be fitted around a spell of very cold weather. Jason and his team did an excellent job and kept me well-informed throughout. They were polite and professional and took time and trouble to the work really well. It looks great and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

  Dig out footings and build retaining wall

  Jason and team are very professional and would highly recommend them. Their workmanship is second to none. This job was finished on time and to budget. We are using A1 Resin and Landscapes for the next part of our project.
