  Unresolved issue — charged full hourly rate for no fix

  The plumber came to inspect our tap issue and advised replacing the valve cartridge rather than opening the side panel. He removed the existing cartridge to locate the part number, but after checking local suppliers, the replacement part wasn't available. Unfortunately, he left without resolving the issue or offering an alternative solution, yet still charged his full hourly rate. The also left one of the tap closure incorrectly put back.
