  Review of Ivanov Building & Decoration Ltd: Official Building Control Intervention

  We hired this company for an extension, resulting in severe structural defects. Building Control inspected and failed the work for poor workmanship. We had to hire a new team to strip it back and rebuild. • No Wall Ties: New brick walls were left completely detached from our house. • Crooked Bricks: Upper walls were visibly out of plumb by 15mm over 1m. • Roof Leak Risk: Built at a 12.8° pitch, but tiles required a 17.5° minimum. • Wrong Screws: Used cheap screws instead of structural nails for roof supports. Unreliable and missed dates led to a formal dispute. there more to this. Avoid them.
