  Reasonable service for dry verge system

  Had a dry verge system fitted (plastic caps) to cover deteriorating mortar along my verge, paying £350. The job was completed to a reasonable, but not exceptional, standard. A couple of the caps are fixed into place a little unevenly, not sitting plumb against the verge. I also had to ask the roofer to go back onto the roof after the job was done to clip one of the caps into place because it was hanging loose - in fairness he did this without complaint. Although the price seems within the market average, it did seem a lot to pay for the plastic and barely an hour's labour.

  An excellent, personal service. Danny was polite and friendly, and completed the job conscientiously, with a small gutter repair thrown in free of charge. I also had a thoughtful discussion with him about the problem I had been having with my gutter. The price was also very fair for the thorough service provided.

  Booked locksmith to open door with a seized mortice lock

  Rob provided a faultless service. He worked conscientiously to open a door with a high quality Union mortice lock that was not at all keen on budging! After a good hour of careful work, trying various options to open the door without causing damage, Rob was able to prise it open. He then gave me thoughtful guidance on changing the lock, and some final and highly useful advice on my front door lock. Overall, this was a service that was both personal and professional. I would highly recommend Rob to anyone in need of help with a lock.
