  Helpful, fast and good price

  Very helpful guy, Simon, came round on the day. I confirmed I’d like him to do the job. His price was very good and it also included guarantee that he would come back and do the wasps nest again if it didn’t go – mainly because he was entirely confident it would go. But that was great reassurance. Very pleasant communications and hopefully the wasps have gone!

  Getting heating working again

  Our hot water was coming on, but not our heating. I put this down as a "within two weeks" job, but MJ Taylor came round very swiftly and took just 18 minutes to find the problem. They didn't have the part on the van, but returned two days later with the 3 port zone valve, which took 50 minutes from arrival to departure. Excellent work, which appears to have done the job. One month later, just waiting to resolve the bill - as I've requested a copy of the parts invoice so I can understand the breakdown of the final sum they're requesting.

  Couldn't get a receipt

  What was good was the gentleman responded very quickly to my request, and arranged to go to the property with very little delay to put a new bracket up for a wobbly aerial. I have not seen the job, but the person living there has reported that it all seems fine and there were no issues - so that's all 10/10. My problem was getting a receipt/invoice. Although I was sent a photo of the receipt, I have asked six times for the receipt to be emailed or posted, and it hasn't happened - in spite of promises it was being posted. A shame. I suggest probably good work ... but admin a bit lacking.

  The job changed from a gas safety check at one property to a gas boiler service at another property. Jim was on time, very friendly, knew his stuff and didn't mess around. One of the good guys.
