  Overcharged and not transparent

  I contacted this trader to repair a faulty tilt-and-turn window in E15. The job involved replacing the handle, spindle and gearbox/mechanism. I agreed £230 by phone and was later told the normal price is £260. The repair appears to work, but I found the price very high and the explanation unclear. When I asked what parts had been fitted, I received only the vague description “spindled handle gearbox”, with no manufacturer or model. I was also initially given general business overheads rather than a clear breakdown. At this price, I expected much better transparency and clearer communication.

  loft conversion

  Turned an open loft into a plastered wall with door fitted. Dave effectively project managed the work bringing in joiners and an electrician. Communication excellent and job well done at a reasonable price. Would use again.

  Fix a leak

  Daniel was super attentive, explained the issue well and fixed it in no time. When asked questions he came back to the property to help resolve. Would definitely recommend.
