  Carpet fitting

  Did a very poor job fitting carpet in my property. The carpet was lumpy, uneven, cut poorly and badly fixed. I took his word that the carpet would settle and that because it was a cheap carpet it could not be stretched much. Other builders, carpet fitters and property developers, have later confirmed he was just being dishonest. I've had to pull up my carpet, buy new carpet, and pay a different fitter to do a better job. The carpet literally just pulled up by hand without resistance. The same would have happened when hoovering. Cheap, but otherwise very bad.
