  Hardwiring smoke alarms

  We needed smoke and heat alarms hardwired. The work was done really well and took much less time than originally quoted, we were told could take a couple hours but only took half an hour. The only thing that could’ve been dealt with better was the arranging of the work as there was a lot of back and forth and periods of no replies which delayed the work getting done from when we initially enquired to the work getting done which caused a bit of stress.

  Boiler leak

  Our boiler was leaking and the heating was not working. Andy was able to squeeze us in between other jobs at short notice and although our boiler is quite old he was able to identify and repair the problem quickly. He gave us brilliant advice on the issue itself as well as new boiler options that were fairly priced should we need it replaced.

  Kitchen sink and shower-head leak. Sunday was 40 mins late but did call me so I didn’t mind. Spent almost 4 hrs on the whole project which I thought should only have been half an hr. 2 trips to supplier as parts needed replaced and he didn’t have materials. Sink is still leaking and he had to make another call out a few days later. Was 10 mins early and it took him 24 mins this time to reseal the whole sink but again the leak is still there. Parts were £25 &, I think, unjustified in needing replaced if fault is still there. He was really nice but I’m left feeling angry and annoyed at the whole situation

  David was very thorough. Checked all the lights, plugs and appliances in the home to make sure it was safe and gave us recommendations on how to improve our current system.
