  A proper honest electrician

  Dave did an EICR for me on a rental flat. He was easy to communicate with and did a thorough job testing the equipment. Not like some other companies who take photos and leave within 10 minutes. I feel confident the cirucits have been assessed properly. Really lovely to deal with a good old fashioned sole trader who knows his trade well. We will be using Dave again and I have recommended him to friends and family. Even my tenant texted me to say what a good electrician he was; workng around them and keeping the place tidy. Very happy with Dave.

  tricky gutter cleaning through neighbours garden

  The house wa empty and for sale. Its a tricky gutter because access is through a neighbours garden. Trevor was happy to introduce himself to the neighbour before and collect/return the keys to the agent. He turned up on time and cleaned the gutter. I wasn't even there. (landlord) In contrast, 2 weeks before - a different gutter company had refused to even knock on the neighbour's door - had just turned up, cleaned the front gutter and left the side and back gutter obviously full of moss! If I had found Trevor before, I would use him regularly. Totally dependable and gets on with the job.

  Easy company to work with

  Double glazing needed on a victorian rental flat in Catford. Rachael was helpful and responsive from the first - often replying outside of office hours. I was probably a fussy customer because I wanted the windows to look like the original sash windows. Also,I needed to put the work on hold for a year ( money diverted to major bathroom leak). When I contacted again, Rachael picked up where we had left on. Couldn't ask for an easier company to work with. There were no issues during fitting and the windows look lovely.

  Lincoln is your man!

  Lincoln came around and gave us a reasonable quote on the same day. It involved stripping off old wallpaper and replastering walls in a rental flat we own. Then he needed to return a week later to paint the room. I gave him the keys and he got on with it. No hassle. No issues. He kept me informed by text and photos. Polite, friendly, easy to work with and the room looks beautiful. I'm reluctant to give him such a good review because now I have found him - I want to keep him to myself!! I will have a lot more work to do and Lincoln is the man!

  Gutter clearing on a high house

  Excellent service. Great to find someone who will go up a ladder rather than brushes from the ground. Zac cleared some tricky rightangled gutters placed over sloping roofs on an old house which is extra high nd cleared the birds nest in the hopper. Very pleased to have found him

  Very reliable. Terry turned up on time at the rental property - actually he had to wait for me - did the work as requested-left - and invoiced on time. Really user friendly. This is the second time I have used Terry for a rental property and will do so again because he just gets the job done. No fuss

  Landlords EHIC

  OMG!! Terry was brilliant. We needed a landlords safety check- other electricians had let us down. Terry fitted us in within a few days and returned again a few days later to rectify the issues found. 2 visits within 5 days - job done! So efficient and quick to respond. Easy to deal with and reasonable price. Why can't all tradesmen be so customer reliable and customer focused? Will definitely use in future.

  Cleaning living room and stairs carpet

  I needed a very old living room carpet cleaned in a house that I was selling. It was a probate job so the carpet was very worn and smelly. Nic was brilliant. The 40 year old carpet came up like new - much better than expected and saved me buying a new one. Nic was easy to talk to, kept me informed, let himself in and out of the house and was very reasonably priced. Perfect!! Will definitely use again

  Rising damp in utility room

  Love the work ethic of these guys! Drove from Sunderland to Carlisle to price the job on the same day I phoned. Gave me a reasonable price for rising damp. Returned following week and did the job. No fuss. Its a rental property and I live 'down south' so really difficult to find reliable tradesmen. But Ryan kept me informed and sent photos. Did more than I expected- fixed downpipe and extra plastering and left property clean and tidy. Easy to work with. Really grateful to them for doing such a great job!

  Guttering, new soakers, coping stones,lead flashing

  Ph Joe because he was local and had enough good reviews for me to believe them!! Explained I was landlady. Tenant has damp down a wall. J. liased with tenant, gave a price and completed job within a week. New gutters, downpipe, soakers. Totally efficient and user friendly. I didn't need to chase. He just got on with the job. No fuss. I was so impressed I asked him to do work on roof of second prop. Again, he quoted and completed the work within a week- no fuss. Job done. I live 'down south' so its always difficult to find reliable tradesmen. Joe was a pleasure to deal with!
