  Great flat roof experience

  Really impressed by Roof Flow. Mark did a site visit the day after my request and was able to give me an all-in, final price quote, for new boards and three-layer ply with flashing. I live in the narrows of Totnes and the access difficulties didn't bother him at all. Work was completed promptly and the guys carrying out the work were great. The new flat roof is perfect, beautifully done. They took all the old flat roof away and tidied meticulously before leaving. And the work has a 15 year guarantee - really important if you come to sell your home. I can now say I know a great roofer! Thanks!

  Replacing mains stopcock

  I'm in a flat on Totnes High Street and had a leaking mains stopcock. G R Plumbing and Heating replied really fast to my advert and organised to do the job asap. Ended up replacing the stopcock for a very reasonable fee. Top guy and top work. Thanks very much Greg!

  Repair of chimney stack and box gutter

  I'm in Totnes and it's difficult to find roofers round here because of access issues. Frank attended fast and was able to assess the leak and pinpoint the issues that needed attention. Him and his guys were able to get to the box gutter without scaffolding and they were round to do the work within a couple of days. They remortarted my chimney stack and waterproofed the box gutter, also fixing any other minor issues they found. I'm very impressed with the whole service and can wholeheatedly recommend Pro-tech Roofing & Building.

  Leadworks Repair

  I had the dreaded realisation that my roof was leaking on both sides of my terraced house and put the request out on Checkatrade. Dean got back to me within the hour with a detailed and well-priced quote. Scaffolding went up three weeks later and Dean was on the case soon after – really impressive turnaround time. I'm so pleased with the work, superb quality. Dean and his colleague were thorough, punctual and polite, worked fast and most importantly the flashing now looks stunning and cyclone-proof. Can't recommend Collis Roofing highly enough – thanks Dean!

  5 new sash windows

  Nick installed five new double-glazed hard-wood sash windows at my house. As stated by another reviewer, the lead time from measuring to installation is around three months while the sashes are made. Nick is prompt, courteous and incredibly hard working. I was away when the time came for installation so I gave him the keys and he worked while I was away, and I came back to transformed house. The windows, their installation, paint work, window furniture and finishing are all first rate, they look beautiful. House is toasty now too, thank you Nick.

  Inspection of consumer unit, plus certificate

  Andy is everything you could want from an electrician - years of experience, NICEIC accredited, punctual plus fun to be around. His response to my job request was within the hour and he was able to come round the next day, a Saturday, as he was in the area, and charged me exactly what he stated on the phone - a very reasonable price. Really happy to have found a good electrician. Will be recommending to friends and family.
