  A very professional and highly competent job

  Firm contracted to relay patio and hard standing area in garden, the latter formerly pea gravel on a membrane. Result excellent - patio now laid in Indian sandstone and garden area in blue slate on new membrane. The works were carried out over a three week period and undertaken in a very professional manner. The site was tidied each day (as far as was possible given the nature of the works), the progress of the works was explained clearly at all stages and where any additional works became necessary, e.g. renewing recessed drain covers, the need was also explained and a fair price agreed.

  Replacement of ball valve in cold water tank and replacement of stop cock on incoming supply.

  The initial problem was loud humming in the cold water pipe made worse as the tank was filling. After changing the ball valve the problem hadn't gone and was then diagnosed as being a problem with the stop cock on the incoming water main. The part was original to the house - some 55 years old - and had begun to weep. The stop cock was replaced and all is now well. Olly, the plumber, was punctual, extremely personable and clearly on top of his profession. All the work was carried out with minimum disruption and everything was explained clearly. The price was less than I had expected. Excellent

  Repair to Conservatory roof

  Arrived on time with all the right equipment. Diagnosed problem i.E. Where leak was actually coming from - identified poor workmanship from previous repair and removed defective sealing. Resealed affected area using high grade sealant and replaced top light. Care taken to put dustsheet down and move anything that might have been in the way of any debris. Cleared up including hoovering area and left everything in order. Very satisfied with the professional and courteous approach especially as care taken to explain what had gone amiss and how it was to be remedied. I would certainly them again.

  Removal of an overgrown heather bush and an unwanted crab apple tree.

  Al round excellent. Estimate was too low but refused any extra on the swings = roundabouts principle. I recommend this man unresoundly.
