  Unexpected price increase after inspection

  I submitted a detailed job description for a leaking toilet and suspected faulty valve, and requested labour and parts to be included in the quote if possible. I was charged £120 for a visit, but no repair work was carried out. I was then quoted £474 for replacement cistern internals and a pan connector, which was higher than expected based on the initial discussion. No clear explanation was given that the £120 visit was a diagnostic charge. Pricing expectations were not clearly set upfront, resulting in a mismatch between the expected and actual service provided.

  Thorough Work and Excellent Aftercare

  We contacted EMS to install a dedicated supply for our AC external unit. They suggested a full electrical check for safety, which we agreed to. All work and socket relocations were completed to a high standard. While testing, they found electrical leakage at our external tap due to missing grounding by the developer. They installed bonding and resolved it, thankfully catching the issue early. When the power tripped later, their aftercare was excellent – they returned next day and identified a faulty food waste disposer. Professional, thorough and genuinely care about safety.
