Arkadia Construction LTD
6.67 Tried hard and meant well but disconcertingly chaotic and inconsistent
Posted 29 April
The team worked hard, tried hard and cared about doing a good job. When I pointed out problems, they tried to resolve them. But the problems were so numerous that I would not employ them again. They painted several rooms. Some parts were painted very well, but others were terrible. Usually they were tidy, but twice they dashed off leaving the house in a state. They fixed most of the messes, but missed some and made a few more in the process. They took longer than they said they would. Their approach was chaotic, lacking knowledge and a plan. I could trust them generally, but not to paint well!Verified reviewerJob location: BD20Plumbserve
9.67 Replacing two failed radiator control valves
Posted 11 November 2025
Ali fixed the valves and made sure the system was working and balanced before leaving. He is friendly and tidy, and was able to come promptly. He arrived a bit late but let me know earlier so that was OK!Verified reviewerJob location: BD20Plumbserve

10 Immersion heater timer installation
Posted 19 October 2025
Richard did a professional job figuring out all the nonsense in the wiring of my hot water system and making it work, and when I couldn’t fathom the first timer he changed it for a different one.Verified reviewerJob location: BD23Richard Barritt Electrical Contractors
9.67 Connecting wires and fuses correctly for immersion heater to function, and installing a timer.
Posted 31 January 2025
Richard came to look at the wiring and gave helpful advice before providing a reasonable quote. He did the job as soon as he was able, given a broken down van! He arrived promptly, is friendly and reassuring, and did not make a mess. The immersion heater is now connected to electricity, so a job well done!Verified reviewerJob location: BD23
