  skimming ceiling and walls in first floor bedroom with chimney breast and bay window.

  Our bedroom was in a sorry state - cracked and broken plaster, mould, artex flaking off the chalk distemper ceiling etc. We hacked off the lath and plaster, wallpaper and mouldy render then fitted sound block plasterboard to ceiling. Plasterer came to look at job exactly when arranged and gave helpful suggestions for remaining prep. work on walls (Thermoline boards on outside walls, hardwall to missing internal). He arrived to do the skimming on time, but I had missed some filling, and he arranged to return in a couple of days. He came back and did a great job skimming the whole room in a day. A top crafsman; hardworking, skilled, reliable, polite, friendly and charged a fair price. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone plastering their rooms.

  it was a plumbing problem that was baffling me; lots going on in small space before fitting kitchen units. Plumber knew straight away what was needed and did it in roughly an hour, including fitting an outdoor tap! Genius.
