  Couldn’t believe how quickly Mayfair got in touch after I posted. - probably less than a minute. They were very clear about costs and also that they had an offer for the first hour of labour. I didn’t immediately choose them as wanted to hear back from others but as soon as one of the other companies started talking about how they needed to do a survey I went back to Mayfair and booked them in. Arrival was the next day. Plumber looked at the job which was a junction from a water pipe, nipped to Screwfix to get the parts and was back and done in 30 minutes. Everything working great.

  Oven no longer blowing hot air

  Quick turnaround from listing the job to their coming around. Was actually just hoping for a quote but they got into the oven to try and locate the problem. The issue was resolved but then other half of oven stopped working. However, somehow this was working when I got back home. Overall, quite happy. I do end up paying a call out charge (my suggestion) though no parts were needed. Perhaps in future, better to have a discussion about the work before taking the kit apart. Nice guys.

  Between posting the job and arrival at home was the space of about two hours. Job completed to satisfaction.
