  • Unable to open conservatory door.

    Suddenly found conservatory door would not open.Wanted a local tradesman.Went to Checkatrade website and found Jet Locksmiths.Call answered quickly,terms and costs explained. Julian arrived within the hour and managed to open the door. Fortunately he had the correct spare parts which were fitted. Left approx 45 minutes later.Three days later same thing appeared to happen again.Julian attended first thing the following day and. Found one of the parts was faulty.This was replaced immediately as was the lock cylinder which had had to be drilled.Very impressed with the service and quality of work

  • Unable to Open the Front Door

    Advised the Locksmith in our telephone conversation that we were having difficulty opening the UPVC front door and that the hinges had dropped, lowering the door and affecting the lock. I asked over the phone could he change the hinges. When he arrived he told me he couldn't get the parts "This is what I'm going to do" . And proceeded to adjust the door plates and the usual lubrication , I tried the door and it was stiff but slightly easier than before. Time taken 20 minutes, 2days later the door won't open. Spoke again no advice offered than get a new door.
