  Kitchen refurb and lean-to repair/rebuild

  Wouldn't recommend. The work on the kitchen is fine but took ages to complete because he kept going off on other jobs. The final part of the job was never finished despite a promise. When I challenged him on this 2 months after multiple ignored text messages and calls, I got an earful down the phone for being demanding and told he wouldn't be completing the job. This means that the kitchen work is now vulnerable as the damp issue (the broken lean to) has not been fixed and we need to find a new builder. All this with him knowing we were about the have a bay, when the baby would arrive.

  Measured up bathroom and kitchen but never gave quote and rude on phone.

  I invited him round in February for a quote for a new kitchen and bathroom. He didn’t send me a quote and I chased this and he ignored my messages. I called him from a different number and he was very rude on the phone. Wasted my time and was rude.

  Kevin built a new floor and reinstalled our kitchen following extensive flood damage.

  Our kitchen had to be removed so that flooding that occured under the floor could be dried. Kevin did a great job of rebuilding the floor that had been removed, including installing a very discreet and well designed access point for a man hole that is under the floor. He also installed new flooring and refit all of the units that had been removed. Kevin was a pleasure to work with, he was always on time and he worked very hard to complete our kitchen ready for Christmas, which we massively appreciate. His work was great and he was very helpful in resolving issues as they came up.

  Install units in the utility room

  Kevin came on time and finished off the work as promised. There were a couple of challenges with the installation, but Kevin proposed solutions/workarounds for those. It is very clear that he is a skilled, thoughtful and experienced person and I would call him again. Most importantly his rates were very reasonable.
