Middlemore did work for us just over a year ago. The pruning and hedge cutting were done well. However, they planted 8 pleached red robins for us - they stand 3m tall and cost £350 per tree. One has just died and when a landscaping firm removed it the root ball was tiny. The others are struggling. The diagnosis is that these plants were not planted correctly in that the root ball was not surrounded by compost and grit to give the roots a chance to grow properly. They were just put in a hole in the ground only just big enough. This is not what I would expect. Very poor.

Middlemore were really quick to reply to my advert. I had requested them due to their good reviews after being let down by someone else coming to give a quote. David came the next day and provided a fair quote for the work. They completed the job on an afternoon to a great standard and left no mess. Would recommend.

I found Middlemore Tree Surgery to be very reasonably priced and decided to use them to reduce the height of a lot of overgrown conifers. I live in a conservation area so most tree work is required to have permission from the council and David kindly did the application on my behalf. On the day arranged for the job and after agreeing the height with them they set to work and stayed until they had completed the work which was one very long day and they finally left the property at around 7pm. I am very satisfied with the work and grateful it was completed in just one day.

Dave and his team arrived on time, they did an excellent job and worked really hard. They took everything away and left the garden looking great. The price was reasonable I would not hesitate in using them again in the future.

No problems with these guys. Andrew came to quote quickly when I was let down by another company who were booked to do the work 2 months previously. They arrived on time but unfortunately the job ran over into the late evening with no light to continue. They apologised but arranged to come back within the next week, which they did, and finally completed the work. Wouldn’t hesitate to use Middlemore Tree Surgery for any future work 👌🏻
