Middlemore Tree Surgery
5 Did not plant trees correctly
Posted 26 May
Middlemore did work for us just over a year ago. The pruning and hedge cutting were done well. However, they planted 8 pleached red robins for us - they stand 3m tall and cost £350 per tree. One has just died and when a landscaping firm removed it the root ball was tiny. The others are struggling. The diagnosis is that these plants were not planted correctly in that the root ball was not surrounded by compost and grit to give the roots a chance to grow properly. They were just put in a hole in the ground only just big enough. This is not what I would expect. Very poor.Verified reviewerJob location: CV7J G Asbestos Services

Completed on time on budget. Very clear on results. Helpful in discussing what might need to be removed, but probably will not. Great service.Verified reviewerJob location: CV7
