I would highly recommend Colin and his team. Very responsive both through quoting stage and during work being carried out which was painting on my hallway, staircase and kitchen. The Decorators were a joy to have in the house, very polite, tidy and the work itself was excellent. Will be using Colin and team again for future painting requirements.

Cannot say enough about how professional this firm is. always arrived on time, got the job done in excellent time and nothing was too much trouble. The standard of work was first class and genuinely beyond my expectations. I have no hesitation in recommending Murray Decorating at all. Great price too! Worth every penny.

Welcome to the Checkatrade page of Murray Decorating.

I mainly carry out domestic decorating, specialising in wall paper hanging but covering all aspects of decoration. I also carry out contract decorating in schools.

I can project manage, calling upon many reputable trades that I have got to know through my many years of experience.

My experience goes back to being an apprentice in Dundee before moving to London in 1974 where I worked on the maintenance at 50 Park Lane (luxury flats) for 2 years. I then became a foreman for a Tee Construction in Lewisham, all their work was in Belgravia and Mayfair mainly for major building firms. Also the Dorchester hotel The Conaught Rooms. It was in 1982 that I got married and moved to Chiswick and Murray Decorating was born.

I offer free estimates and am fully insured. No money will be taken upfront. You only pay when the job is finished and you are happy!
