    Gas Fire Service

    We contacted Wakeford Fireplaces after struggling to find anyone who could service our gas fire, and Adam and Clare could not have been more helpful. They arranged for a gas fitter to visit very quickly, and Andrew serviced the fire efficiently and professionally. The whole process was straightforward, and the price was very reasonable. We’d happily use this local company again and would definitely recommend them to others.

    Highly recommend

    I couldn't be happier with the service from start to end. I tried another company a few years ago who said they couldn't fit a wood burner in my fireplace and it is too small, so I tried again with Wakeford who said it would be no problem. The wood burner was fitted in 3hrs and the end result looks neat and professional, including changing some stone in the fireplace which was matched perfectly (I didn't even notice the difference). Adam has a solution mindset and is super responsive. I highly recommend.

    log effect gas fire replacement

    An excellent experience with Wakeford Fireplaces . Adam and Clare were extremely helpful in advising us on a fireplace that suited our needs, and the service from survey to fitting was professional and efficient. Alex carried out the installation with great care, ensuring everything was safe and improving the safety of our existing fittings. We are delighted with the finished result — a remote-control log effect gas fire that’s really transformed the living room.

    Happy Pensioners

    New Fireplace installed by Alex, who was very helpful and patient with us. He ensured that we were kept advised at all times as we had to change from a gas to an electric fire. Adam and Clare were extremely helpful when we first visited their shop, spending time with us in choosing the right fireplace and fire for our home.
