  Great job by Alan. Very punctual - he was there when he said he would be ! Quality of work was excellent. Really clean and tidy. Nothing to do after he left, other than repaint the bathroom ! Would highly recommend. He’s good quality and prices are reasonable so book him in and he’ll do a great job from what I’ve seen.

  Alan at ARA Carpentry and Building did an amazing job for us and was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Planned the job meticulously and carried everything out according to plans, including extra hours when required to ensure the job was completed on time and to our deadlines. Alan did a brilliant job in making and hanging two very large and completely bespoke wooden doors, and in very neatly widening the original doorframe. We'll definitely use ARA again and highly recommend them :)

  We had an excellent service and build. Alan impressed when he initially tendered with a detailed talk through of the work and materials he would use. The quote was in line with expectations. Alan and Jason worked solidly throughout the build and were excellent with talking through the progress during the build as well as being clean and tidy in their work. The work was completed on schedule with great attention to detail. Alan arranged the supporting trades who also completed their work to a high standard. I would recommend Alan for any work.

  Alan was very helpful right from the start regarding coming round to quote for the job. He was punctual, very tidy and meticulous in his work, even as much as sweeping brick dust off our storage box and water butt in the garden, and took all the rubbish away afterwards. We are very pleased with the job, the door looks great and would have no hesitation in recommending Alan.
