  • Complete Exterior Repair and Decoration

    Just a brilliant trouble free experience. Gary Barham is a polite, punctual and thorough worker. The whole job took 3 weeks. Gary managed to navigate through all weathers undaunted. All walls were thoroughly repaired and prepped prior to to a double coat of high quality masonry paint. We're absolutely delighted with the result and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anybody. Thanks so much Gary.

  • Repair of wood at the front of a shower tray

    The wood at the front of our shower tray looked terrible, damp and probably rotten. Gary has done a superb job repairing it. It was not a big job but because of the different treatments, he had to pop in about 5 times, which wasn't ideal for him. We are really pleased with the completed work and would highly recommend Ashling Decorators.

  • Stripping back cedar garage door and staining and varnishing front door

    Research was undertaken by the decorator as to the best treatment of the cedar garage door. As a result all existing varnish was sanded off, and the garage door was sanded down to bare wood, it was then treated with two coats of osmo decking oil as recommended by the technical department of osmo. The door came up looking like new. Gary also sanded down the weather bar of our front door, stained it and rubbed down front door front and applied two coats of marine varnish. It looks great.

I have been providing a quality service in the Chichester and Bognor Regis area for more than 34 years, and have the skills that you need to get the best possible finish.

 

Having trained in the traditional way by completing a 5-year apprenticeship, and gaining a City & Guilds Advanced Decorator Qualification, I have the knowledge and skills to provide the best quality workmanship and attention to detail, in all aspects of decorating.
