    Damps issues and wall cracks

    After sending Alex a video and photos of damp issues and wall cracks in 3 rooms and hallway and our son’s property he sent Matt to take a look within a couple of days. Matt advised on a structural engineer check and this was all okay. Matt then book in the job within a couple of weeks. Matt is extremely knowledgeable and meticulous he started the job this Monday with his colleague Lorencia. Matt sent me updates on Tuesday evening and today (Thursday) I met him at the property to see the great work that they had done. Extremely professional and superb workmanship.

    Superb and knowledgeable company and workmanship

    After sending Alex videos and photos of damp issues in 3 rooms and several large cracks in some walls at our son’s property he was extremely speedy and sent Matt to take a look. After having a structural engineer to take a look at the wall cracks all was okay. Matt then booked the job in within two weeks. Matt is extremely knowledgeable and meticulous he started the work this Monday with his colleague Lorencia. Matt send us updates on Tuesday and today (Thursday) I met him at the property to see the fantastic job that they had done.Extremely trust worthy and left the place tidy.

    Rising Damp

    New render and plaster on kitchen walls

    Alex responded very promptly to my enquiry and came to do the quote the same afternoon. He gave an accurate estimate of how long the job would take and arrived punctually each day. The work was carried out professionally with minimum disruption. The area was left clean and tidy on completion of the work. Alex was very courteous and helpful.

    Damp porch

    Alex came to survey the work required to eliminate the damp in the porch. Returned to carry out the work a few days after providng estimate. Very professional and kind. Very fair price. Would definitely recommend this company

    Outstanding work

    Alex was an outstanding worker. While I may not know the technicalities of damp proofing, I appreciated the comprehensive communications, (especially by text as I’m partially Deaf), information being imparted, and, the care and attention given to the job, and especially, to my property (be it dust sheets, floor coverings, clearing up every night and at the end, etc..) Excellent work reports and pricing. Highly recommended.

My name is Alex Truss, I'm a Damp Proofing specialist based in Carshalton Surrey. I have been specializing in Rising Damp for the last 30 years.

After learning the ropes through my dad who was also in the industry, I decided to go solo around 25 years ago and have never looked back.

I work anywhere within Southwest London and North Surrey.

I am a sole trader who takes pride in their work. All damp proofing works come with a 20-year guarantee. I put my name to my work and am proud of delivering an excellent service which would be unrivalled anywhere else in the industry.

Not only do I specialize in the identification and treatment of rising damp I also deal with issues such and Dry Rot and Wet Rot. Crack Repair with the installation of the heliair and helibeam systems. Basement tanking and waterproofing with systems such as Vandex BB75 and the multicoat Sika1 multi coat system. I am also a first-class plasterer and renderer so call me for any work above including floor laying etc.

Please note that I do not deal with condensation or any penetrating damp.

Your works may also need the removal and re-installation of say a bathroom or kitchen units. Don't worry you will be in safe hands.
