8/10 for workmanship - ABSOLUTELY 0/10 for communication/customer service/
My domestic sump pump failed and Basement Pumps came out to look at fitting 2 pumps. Job done- not bad, although a mess was made of the carpet which was not cleaned properly.After some confusion with someone in the office I paid in advance for the cost of the pumps and the three-hours it would to to fit them.The engineers were on site for 1 hr 55 mins but the job sheet stated that the work charged for was over to hours. On questioning the charge for the extra hour, I was told it was the amount agreed upon...this is despite a very lengthy conversation, beforehand, questioning the hourly rate.

Installing a pump alarm.
Kevin was so kind and helpful when I needed to have my pump repaired and an alarm installed. I am so grateful to Basement Pumps for their support! It’s a dirty job but somebody’s got to do it!

To remove internal pipework. Concrete base of chamber before reinstating pedestal.
Very dissapointed with the outcome of the works. The engineers claimed that the issue for the full chamber was definitely the base of the chamber being raised and the pump therefore not sitting correctly. After a very expensive job the engineers left the site claiming that the water was still being pumped very slowly and the reason for that is a small valve that would need to be replaced, which they claimed not to have with them. This is extremely unprofessional because to have them return they want to charge me again for labour. Now the pump seems to be gone, the job seems to have been waste!

Pool waste tunk blocked and failure pump
I run a swimming school and we had a blocked waste tunk (sweage) and also issues with the sump pump in one of our sites. I needed a company could not only remove the sweage waste but also at the same time send a Engennier could understand the problem and provide a solution. Rick and his team have done just that. We wil certainly use them again and I can reccommend their services .

Attempting to replace a sump pump
Do not use this company!!! I had them onsite in total of 4 times to do a simple pump replacment. 2nd time got the wrong parts 3rd time no one turned up and 4th time they got the wrong parts despite all their promises to sort this out. Engineers and customer service is apaling with no attention to detail. Nedless to say I will never have any further dealings with these guys.
