9.75 Full bathroom refit
Posted 25 November 2022
I’m really pleased with the full bathroom refit that BMM completed for me. Matt, Alex, Carl and the whole team were a pleasure to work with and ensured that my bathroom design came to fruition within my budget. After receiving multiple quotes from various companies BMM were the most competitive. The price quoted was the price I paid and there were no sneaky fees added during the fit. I couldn’t recommend BMM enough if you are looking for quality services at a fair price!Verified reviewerJob location: BL57.25 Bathroom replacement

Initial good impressions of the company, knew exactly what we wanted. Fitter very tidy. Bathroom was completed, no final checks completed by the company ensuring everything in regards to the completion of the bathroom, faults found.. asked for bath size to remain the same as the old one, the new one is a lot smaller! plasterers had to return as job not completed to good enough standard, fitter had to return as finishing touches to tiling not up to standard, which management again havent checked that customer is happy with end result, which family member will have to some how rectify still !Verified reviewerJob location: M41Response from Bathroom Mobility Manchester Ltd
We are every disappointed to receive this review, which has come as a shock to us all. The plasterer returning was a decision made by the management in consultation with the customer. We did this free of charge. A trim was agreed to be fitted after the ceiling was painted by the customer, there was a delay in returning to fit this trim due to us being involved in other jobs, customer said there was no rush, we still have the message exchange. Our Client was very happy with all works completed, and paid on time, very happy to return if customer has since decided that there is something that needs rectifying, however her daughter who has written the review requested that we do not contact her ('The consumer has requested that no contact is made, and we politely ask that you respect their wishes'). One final point, the customer wanted a bath screen fitting to wall instead of existing curtain and the window position was a limiting factor. The bathroom design was approved by the client with CAD images agreed and the decision made to fit a 1700mm long bath instead of existing 1800mm to achieve the desired layout.

One of Carl’s selling points was that he would always return if something was faulty after completion . The bath panel became wet and soggy after a week . I was told that I’d asked for this kind of bath panel and I’d agreed to paint it . Completely untrue as I have zero DIY skills ! I’ve repeatedly asked for it to be replaced even with their cheapest bath panel . I was told it was a tricky size (!) so they would need time to find one or I could PAY them to tile it. I have REPEATEDLY asked for a replacement but I’m REPEATEDLY ignored which goes completely against Carl’s initial selling tacticVerified reviewerJob location: WA15Response from Bathroom Mobility Manchester Ltd
The work on this property was completed in December 2019, and the amount charged was exactly what was quoted for. The customer was overjoyed with the work and the fact we completed in time for Christmas. we agreed to commence work when the remainder of the renovation was dragging behind, which wasn't ideal for our fitters, but we like to accommodate where possible. The situation with the bath panel is unfortunate, for obvious reasons a modern bath panel wasn't wanted, and neither was a tiled in bath. The compromise was a tongue/groove panel with moisture proof board that had to be painted. Unfortunately customer forgot to ask her decorator (who painted the entire premises including the bathroom) to do it, and it was left unpainted for a considerable amount of time, we were then expected to tile the bath panel in years later! this isn't something that is straightforward especially when trying to maintain the quality workmanship our clients expect. Any offers other than a free tiling in of the bath are considered unacceptable to the customer. (Grey metro tile traditional bathroom In photo gallery), it is wholly unfair that a score of Zero is allowed

We now have a smashing wet room. They are very knowledgeable in equipment that is available for disabled people. We only had 1 loo, so it was put back every evening so we could use it. All the work is done to high standard. Tidy up each day.Verified reviewerJob location: OL10
