• EICR inspection and remedial work

  I'm in the process of renting my house out, and needed an EICR electrical safety certificate for the managing agents. John came round one saturday to inspect my house. Unfortunately there were a few issues which meant I wouldn't pass the EICR. John fixed all these outstanding issues quickly, issuing me the certificate I needed the very same day. Throughout he was tidy, courteous and helpful, explaining each problem so I understood exactly what was going on. This is the third time I have enlisted John to help me out and I highly recommend him to others seeking electrics works.

• The sparky who saved Christmas

  What a guy. John is not only good at what he does, he’s honest, educates you on everything he’s doing and more importantly, he delivers what he says. We were left in a situation while doing a refurb where a new kitchen was fitted and none of the elec worked…. And all the wiring was behind the new kitchen. From day 1 all the potential issues (best and worst case) were shared as John wants you to know what you’re dealing with, even if it might not be what you want to hear. Then he just turns up on time for every agreed appointment, cracks on and does exactly what he says he will. Legend.

  John has done work for me before and he arrived punctually and started work immediately. He completed the job quickly and efficiently without undue disturbance to the household and tidied up and removed any rubbish. He was friendly and polite throughout his visit and his charges were as arranged prior to his visit. I thoroughly recommend him for the quality and tidiness of his work as well as the quickness with which he completes the job.
